A Strange Night ✭ The Ultimate CURECONNECTIONS Meeting
The time has come again: the night of the year for all who love The Cure is about to unfold:
„A Strange Night In Berlin/Happy Birthday Robert Smith – The Ultimate CURECONNECTIONS Meeting“.
Like every year, on April 24th 2010, we will celebrate the birthday of The Cure’s frontman Robert Smith. But this time there will be even more. CURECONNECTIONS, the world’s largest and most active international forum for all fans of The Cure will be celebrating their great meet up and add international flair. The Cure fans from all over the world will be attending and advance the party with ambiance, atmosphere and cult. At the V.C.F Club in Berlin we will celebrate in the attractive underground of Berlin’s suburban railway, right between Alexanderplatzt and Hackeschen Markt in pure old-Berlin nostalgic flair, right into the wee hours of the morning.
As in the past years we will celebrate the sound, the look and the attitude to life „The Cure“. And last but not least, ourselves.
As usual, in charge of the music will be The Cure experts Wilco, DJ Ørlög and guests. They will rummage their boxes of discs and create the typical The Cure mood, not only playing the inevitable hits, but also true rarities, b-sides, remixes, cover-versions and songs from side projects.
Well traded among fans and exclusively printed for „A Strange Night Night – Happy Birthday Robert!“, the fabulous buttons will be available again as a limited edition. This year we will additionally offer party shirts at special offer prices, for mementos.
We’d like to quote a regular quest, „Who is not attending this party, cannot be a true fan of The Cure“. April 24th deserves three XXX in your calendar for sure.
And as if that isn’t enough, we’ll meet up for a „warm-up“ drink (or two) on April 23rd 2010 in a comfortable atmosphere, just „among ourselves“ at the Flieger Club in Berlin. The typical The Cure ambiance is assured as well. We are looking forward to raising our glasses to a fantastic The Cure weekend with a „Mad Bob Special“!
